OUR STORY

Croft Commercials Transport Ltd was established in 2005 by Stephen Meadowcroft in Blackburn, Lancashire, originally operating as a vehicle maintenance business.
 

As customer demand grew, the company expanded to include specialist vehicle bodywork fabrication and repair services. This period of growth saw the business relocate to larger premises, building a strong reputation for high-quality HGV repairs and body installation services across a growing customer base.
 

In 2011, Croft Commercials refocused its operations, moving to its current facility near Junction 5 of the M65. From here, the business concentrates primarily on maintenance services, operating from a modern, fully equipped workshop with excellent motorway access, secure 24-hour facilities, and extensive on-site parking.
 

Today, Croft Commercials continues to invest in its facilities, expertise, and service offering — maintaining its reputation as a reliable and trusted partner for commercial vehicle operators across the region.

With over 20 years in the industry, Craig began his career through an HGV apprenticeship before moving into freelance farm machinery work, specialising in tele-handlers, JCBs, and tractors.

Our newest team member, Mehroze is currently studying Heavy Vehicle Servicing and Maintenance (Level 3) at Preston College. With a keen interest in HGV servicing and repair, he is building a strong foundation of technical knowledge and hands-on experience.
